    ‘Severn Valley Mark 2’ planned as Beeching reversal scheme

    A SCHEME to rebuild part of the ‘lost’ northern section of the Severn Valley Railway to provide a modern public transport link for visitors to the Ironbridge World Heritage Site, has been lodged in the third round of the Government’s bid to reopen closed lines.
