A MAJOR RESTORATION

The moment I spotted this Renault Major on social media, I just had to make contact with the owner Ed Brewster and see if I could come and see it for Classic Truck. I love something that’s a rare or unusual unit in the classic truck world, be it a marque or a model, and this really ticked the boxes in every sense. The truth is, there are not that many restored Renaults in the UK, and this truck looked a beauty.

The weather was not perfect when I arrived at Killingholme to see M991OBE, and the forecast bore little resemblance to what my weather app had suggested, but nevertheless, in the grey September sky, the striking yellow and blue R385ti was a beacon of brightness.
