There are self-sown violets in the cracks in the front-garden path. There are self-sown forget-me-knots and deep purple aquilegia in the gravel of the driveway. I (sometimes) pull up the self-sown purple striped poppies.
I think Greg would rather I didn’t let anything self-seed in the gravel, but I am a sucker for things that make a break
