ew Zealand-born James Tolich began his photography career in Sydney at the age of 18 on a break from university. He has since lived and worked in New York and Paris, where he’s shot for some of the world’s leading publications, such as US , and brands), ‘Full of Wonder’ () and ‘Cast in Stone’ (). Photographing kids Francesca and Charlie in Sydney’s Royal Botanic Garden was a highlight. “They were both so engaging and delightful to work with,” he says. “The images really reflect it. There is such a natural ease to them — I am thrilled with the result.”
