Ask the EXPERTS

Q My bath panel has broken and I can’t find a new one that suits anywhere. As an alternative, I’d like to try wood panelling, but I don’t know what type I need. Can you advise?

Although it’s not as straightforward as simply replacing an old PVC panel, you can create your own wooden bath panel using tongue and groove cladding. These clever strips of wood slot neatly together and can be painted to seamlessly blend in with your bathroom’s colour scheme.  Usually used outside to improve the look of a home’s exterior, they’re quite capable of being used in the wet and warm environment of the bathroom.
