TO CREATE the marled triangle motifs on this garment, the body and sleeves are knitted sideways, using short-row shaping and strands of silk-mohair and wool yarns held together for the triangles. Once the pieces are complete, they are joined to work the striped yoke section. The neckline incorporates a welt which is folded to the inside and stitched in place. Oksana Dymyd’s design is knitted in two yarns from Lana Grossa: the laceweight Silkhair, and the sportweight Cool Wool.
