HAVING BEEN ON THE HUNT for a country cottage for nearly two years, Belinda Neame and Tim Bean were passionate about rural life – but on the point of giving up. “Tim’s got a love of history and I love old-world architecture and homes, so we’ve both been drawn to the country for quite a while,” says Belinda. “Our daughter Tilly plays basketball for ACT, so we’re constantly travelling with her and exploring those small towns.
