As my eyes snapped open, I looked up at the clock.
It was March 2017, 8.30am, and I’d woken up desperate for the loo.
At just over 23 weeks pregnant, it wasn’t unusual.
Trying not to wake my partner Corey, then 25, I shuffled off to the bathroom.
Only, when I got to the toilet, I realised I was leaking into my knickers.
To be on the safe side, I decided to call the doctor.
‘It sounds like a urine infection,’ they told me. ‘But come in for a check-up.’
