Festivals are such fun events for kids, something they truly look forward to these days. I remember the excitement about colours and balloons on Holi, and the sweet and savoury treats my mum made during Diwali. I believe kids enjoy these festivals more than any of us, and this holds very true for my girls too. In fact, after becoming a mum, I started enjoying festivals even more. Experiencing the same energy and excitement of seeing colours, sweets, flowers and festivities for the first time. The butterflies in one’s tummy like something so good is about to happen, and the innocent simple pleasures of buying and wearing new clothes. Only now, it’s with two cute little mini-me’s
