    MATERIALS

    7 (7) (8) 50g (125m) balls of Sirdar Country Classic DK (50% acrylic, 50% wool) in Grey (Silver Grey 872), 2 balls in Black (873) and 1 ball in each of Burgundy (True Red 871) and White (850)*. Pair each of 3mm (No. 11) and 3.75mm (No. 9) knitting needles; stitch holders; removable stitch markers or contrast thread. Yarn is available from theknittingnetwork.co.uk

    TENSION

    24 stitches and 31 rows, to 10 x 10cm, over stocking stitch, using 3.75mm needles.
