AN UNDERRATED SCANDAL

It is now public knowledge that senior ANC party members secretly hitched a ride on a state jet to Zimbabwe for a meeting with the ruling Zanu-PF party last month. The lift was given by Defence and Military Veterans Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula and they were outed by the Zimbabwean media.

The ANC’s secretary-general Ace Magashule, the infamous and convicted criminal ANC national executive committee (NEC) member Tony Yengeni, former environmental affairs minister Nomvula Mokonyane, Social Development Minister Lindiwe Zulu and a few other NEC members went along for the ride.

President Cyril Ramaphosa had given Mapisa-Nqakula permission for her official trip to Zimbabwe.
