YOU SAY YOU WANT A REVOLUTION?

On October 25 2018 the Revolution A-One, a new sports prototype racer, hit the track for the first time. Exactly two years later, on October 25 2020, one-make A-One races will support the Formula 1 Portuguese Grand Prix at the Algarve circuit. There are set to be 20 of them racing, with customers from five countries.

And, in some ways, the transformation has been even swifter. TheA-One’s race category, the Revolution Trophy class within the also-new Sports Prototype Cup, made its competitive bow at Silverstone inApril 2019 as the first of three trial events on that year’s UK national calendar. There were only twoA-Ones.

Even by the year’s end just four raced.

Then thisAugust the Revolution Trophy reconvened at Brands Hatch with now 11 cars and notable professional drivers including Scott Mansell,Alex Kapadia and British GT champion Bradley Ellis.
