An economics degree and early career working in banking may not be the usual route to making a living from pattern design, but that’s exactly where Celia Goldsmith, the creative powerhouse behind the beautiful Tiny Design Co. patterns brand first started out. Now, this stylish Aussie mum-of-three lives in Bali, Indonesia with her husband and children, and spends her days coming up with dreamy sewing patterns for baby and kid’s clothing.

“I’ve always loved using my hands and engaging in creative activities and sewing was one of those things I dabbled in when I was at school,” explains Celia. “I got back into sewing when I was in university and met my husband, whose mum was a professional seamstress.” Despite loving the creativity of sewing, Celia let this take a backseat after she
