MATERIALS

• Six fat quarters of assorted red and beige print fabrics

• 40cm (½yd) solid cream fabric (block background)

• 40cm (½yd) fine white and red dotted fabric (binding)

• 1.2m (1⅜yd) backing fabric

• Batting at least 150 x 50cm (60 x 20in)

• Tearaway stabiliser (machine appliqué)

• 35cm (⅜yd) lightweight non-fusible interfacing

• Machine sewing threads to match the fabrics

• Template plastic and permanent-marking pen

• Erasable fabric-marking pen or pencil

• Rotary cutter, ruler and mat

• Sewing machine with ¼in foot

• General sewing supplies

Finished size:

143 x 43cm (56 x 17in)
