HOW TO DEPLOY A SIMPLE SQUARE CROP IN PHOTOSHOP

1 Select the Crop tool

The square crop might seem old school, but when deployed with skill, it can help simplify and cut to the chase. First, select the Crop Tool (C) and select 1:1 (square) in the options menu (set to Original Ratio by default). Your crop border will now be square.

2 Modify the crop

You can now click and drag one of the corner handles to fine-tune the size of your square crop, and click and drag the crop border to move it around your image. You can even rotate the crop by hovering the cursor near a corner handle and dragging
