n the last Sunday of every October, clocks in the British Isles go back one hour. So within just a few days the sun goes from setting at close to 6pm, to touching the horizon soon after 4.30pm. For sun-lovers this dramatic shift in early November marks the beginning of a dark and depressing winter. But all is not lost; as we see less of the primary star in our solar system, the flip side is we get to enjoy a multitude of other stars that surround our blue planet. Although these celestial bodies are shining down on us all year round, they only become visible to the naked eye when the sky darkens at twilight; in summer this happens for just a precious few hours each day
