■ World of Wool Marble DK (80% merino wool, 20% silk, 50g/110m), 3 balls of Black Rock (MY14), 2 balls of Feather (MY16), 1 ball of Coral Reef (MY10)

■ A 5mm (US H/8) hook

NOTES

Scarf is made up of 8 Motifs. All stitches on each Motif are worked through the back loops only. After you have made all the Motifs, you will work rounds of slip stitches into the unused front loops.

Make 4 in Black Rock and 4 in Feather.

Make a magic loop.

Round 1 (RS) Ch1 (does not count as st throughout), 8htr in loop, ss to top of beg htr. [8 sts]

Round 2 Ch1, (htr in bl of next 2 sts, ch2) 4 times, ss to top of beg htr. [8 sts, 4 ch-2 sps]

Round 3 Ch1, (htr in next bl of next 2 htr, htr in next ch, ch2, htr in next ch) 4 times, ss to top of beg htr. [16 htr, 4 ch-2 sps]

Round 4 Ch1, htr in bl of next 3 htr, (htr in next ch, ch2, htr in next ch, htr in bl of next 4 htr) 3 times, htr in next ch, ch2, htr in next ch, htr in bl of final htr, ss to top of beg htr. [24 sts, 4 ch-2 sps]
