Historically Mark has preferred Vespas to Lambrettas. “I don’t know why really; I think it was just that I thought Vespas were less likely to break down and would cause less trouble,” he smiled. Having previously owned the custom Vespas ‘The Business’ and ‘Lower Class’, Mark is also no stranger to the custom scooter scene; The Business had the paint and Lower Class had the engineering. In 2018 Mark sold Lower Class and started riding his partner’s scooter, a Lambretta GP TS1, which he enjoyed.

Eventually he started looking for his own Lambretta and it wasn’t too long before he travelled to Gateshead
