Right now is a good time to be a Jurassic fan, what with Colin Trevorrow hard at work shooting Jurassic World: Dominion, the sixth movie in the dino franchise begun by Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park. Can’t wait? Well, thankfully, Netflix’s new CG animation series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous plugs a T–rex–sized hole, with eight episodes that’ll make you glad the next one is just a button-push away.

While there have been other aborted attempts at ‘toons, this is the first one to get greenlit and J.A. Bayona’s spawned a new generation of fervent dinosaur enthusiasts, he notes. “They want more than one feature film every three years.”
