As any true football fan will know, the love of the game runs in your blood. I’d been a huge Wigan Athletic fan since the age of 12.

And so it was no surprise that in 2013, I met my husband Stephen, 40, at a Wigan match.

We’d been chatting online before, so I knew he was a fan, and the DW Stadium in Wigan seemed like the perfect place for a first date.
