FROM TIP TO TOE
The road unfurls in front of us and I am in awe of the breathtaking landscape, with mountainous views and mysterious lochs.
The way is smooth under the wheels of our Bailey Autograph 74-4 and as we are the only vehicle around, I slow down to admire the scenery.
“Look how beautiful this view is, Harrison,” I say to my four-year-old.
“Yes Mummy, but where are the sheep?” he replies.
There’s no pleasing everyone, is there? We are on the west coast of Scotland, on the second day of our ‘end-to-end’ trip, supporting my husband Marcus as he cycles a very scenic route from John O’Groats to Land’s End, totalling 2575km and 39,000m of climbing.
Unlimited freedom
Truth be told, I think he has the easier role, compared to my responsibilities as the support crew!
