The first tool you want, if you’re going to entertain some top-end work, is a set of cylinder head stands – they’re not expensive and worth every penny. They’re very simple and hold the head in exactly the attitude you want it.
The next thing you need is a compartmentalised box with a minimum of eight holes, more if you’re playing with a wizz-bang
