The SA Police Service is believed to be planning protective custody for the safety of paediatric surgeon Professor Peter Beale, as they fear he might be the next target of assassins, two highly placed sources have revealed.

Following the murder of Dr Abdulhay Munshi – widely believed to be a hit – police are not leaving anything to chance and are concerned about Beale’s security.
