There’s no Alpe d’Huez in the Tour we thought this bend on Le Puy Mary (stage 13) might be the substitute for Dutch corner because of all the orange. However, it is in fact a promotional effort by the tourist authorities of Cantal, the region of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes where Le Puy Mary sits. That hasn’t stopped a few Basque fans, also resplendent in orange, using it as an ideal place to cheer on their man Mikel Landa (Bahrain-McLaren) though.
