    Euro 2020 is due to get underway in Rome on June 11, 2021, when Roberto Mancini’s impressive Italy take on Turkey in the curtain-raiser at the Stadio Olimpico. It will have been a process of more than two years to get there.

    Qualification began in March 2019, with 20 of the 24 qualifying spots up for grabs, first given directly to the countries that finished in the top two in each group.
