Clutchless Convenience

COMBINATION OF ATTRACTIVE pricing, an eye-catching design, and Hyundai’s well-appointed interior packed with creature comforts has seen the Korean brand’s entry-level SUV earn much praise and popularity since its launch last year. Hyundai currently offer the Venue with three powertrain options: a torquey 1.5-litre common-rail diesel, a frugal 1.2-litre petrol motor, and, lastly, the fun option, an entertaining 1.0-litre turbo petrol mill that pumps out 120 horses. So far, this punchy engine could be had with either a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed DCT and you can read our review of the DCT variant.
