    A love story

    I love this figurine and have had it for over 20 years. I am wondering if it is Korean and how old it might be. Any information you can give me would be great. Linda Price, Bridport

    Your figure is a 20th-century piece depicting the heroine from the traditional Chinese opera . It tells the tragic love story of Zhu Yingtai, a 16-year-old girl who disguises herself as a boy to attend school, where she falls in love with Liang Shanbo.
