1 Walk up lane with church on L and turn R signed to Wonwell Beach. Take first footpath on L along field edge, then bear R as signed. Path leads down through woodland to lane above River Erme. Turn L.

2 At road end path carries on down to beach and Erme crossing point. Just after road end fork L to follow Coast Path, initially through Wrinkle Wood. Fine views back across estuary as you head along cliffs round Muxham Point and Ferrycombe Point. Heading on
