One of the country’s most familiar and important buildings, the Palace of Westminster houses the UK’s key political and lawmaking institution. As we negotiate our way through this difficult year it would be easy to touch on the timing of such a stamp subject; to use the stamps as an opportunity to comment on modern-day politics and the decisions that have so literally and dramatically affected thousands of lives in recent months. But this is not the place for political commentary – let us instead focus on the stamps themselves.
