AFTER picking up the Lightweight from its service, what should have been a lovely drive home was somewhat marred by the distinct feeling that it was not as happy as I to be back on the road.

Being petrol (cue obligatory sharp intake of breath at the shocking cost of running a 2.25 engine these days), the Lightweight has always boasted nifty acceleration at traffic lights and is normally able to hold its own on the motorway.
