I had hoped to be greenlaning by now. There’s nothing better than heading off along an unbeaten track and enjoying being out in the countryside in your Land Rover. It’s a simple pleasure and a natural development of something the British have been enjoying for a long time.
Ever since the advent of the motor car in the first half of the 20th century, folk have liked nothing better than setting off for a drive in the countryside. In the very early days, only the very rich could afford them, but as the years passed, car ownership gradually became within reach of most folk and, after the second world war, as cars became cheaper
