n 1973 a Roman bath-house was discovered in Bearsden, on the northern outskirts of Glasgow. It was found as part of an exploratory excavation of the associated Roman fort in advance of a housing development. Ten seasons of excavation followed and in 2016 the report was published. It sold out but has now been made available free of charge courtesy of the Society of Antiquaries
