I Where was Alexander baptised?

Alexander was baptised at the City of London Lying-In Hospital. This was one London’s earliest lying-in hospitals and was situated on the corner of City Road and Old Street in the parish of St Luke’s.

II What was he found guilty of in July 1848?

He was charged with Sedition and Unlawful Assembly, following a Chartist meeting held in Victoria
