My ancestor’s illness

If you’ve been admitted to hospital yourself, you will know that modern healthcare professionals keep very detailed notes about your progress and wellbeing. The prospect of finding information like this about an ancestor is potentially exciting. However, the reality is, unfortunately, that it is very unlikely that you will find accounts of this kind. Having said that, all genealogists know (or soon learn) never to give up hope!
