Fordson Dexta restoration

In the last issue we managed to run up the rebuilt engine to ensure that it ran satisfactorily and I also finished working on the brakes. Now our attention is to be focussed upon the tinwork, which was removed and stored early on in the restoration process.

There is always a point in restorations such as this where one has to decide whether to repair or replace parts. These days the availability of replacement tinwork is much better than it was a few years ago, and also the quality has also improved with time.
