THE SUPERLANDINI SEMI-DIESEL

The main period of semi-diesel popularity started in the Twenties and lasted into the Fifties. The Lanz company in Germany was the leading manufacturer, producing over 200,000 of their Bulldog series tractors and also developing engine technology that influenced many other semi-diesel manufacturers.

Specialists

The Landini company in Italy was also one of the leading semi-diesel specialists, and others including Ursus in Poland, the Hungarian HSCS company, Munktells in Sweden and Vierzon in France were also prominent. A surprising addition to the semi-diesel tractors list was a small number of KL Bulldog tractors built in Australia under an agreement with Lanz.
