CYLINDER HEAD REFURB

Although I am working on a Ferguson TE-F20 cylinder head, it could well be from any tractor. The techniques used will be the same diesel or petrol powered.

The rockers

Looking at the rocker shaft on the Fergie cylinder head featured in last month’s workshop article, I had noticed that one of the central rocker bushes had become displaced. This allowed the rocker to move around instead of just up and down as it should. Doing a bit of research online, I could not find a supplier for the wrapped bushes for the TE-F and found one supplier for bushes to suit the petrol/TVO versions.
