    1 Start Head W along road a short distance to entrance drive to Plas Talgarth (holiday resort)/route of well-waymarked Wales Coast Path (WCP) on L. Walk along drive and follow WCP waymarks past bungalows, continuing along atrack, in due course descending a field to Penmaendyfi and carrying on down access road to lane. Turn L and almost immediately R through kissing gate, cross footbridge beyond and follow path along valley, bearing R to A493.
