Farewell, Sir Stirling Moss. What a legend. I first met him in the late 1970s. Back then, motor racing wasn’t the worldwide phenomenon it is today and the drivers weren’t rock stars like they are now. But even if it had been like that, it wouldn’t have mattered to Stirling. He was truly a man of the people.
