THERE ARE NOT many women under the age of 25 who can say they are at the helm, quite literally, of a global, multimillion-dollar business in a male-dominated industry. But 24-year-old Ellie Malouf is not easily daunted.

“Other companies have tried to intimidate us because we are market disrupters, or, as we like to say, improvers,” Ellie explains of the impact her family-run company, Ahoy Club, has had on the luxury yacht industry.
