Jack Allen’s were agents for the Dennis Brothers’ waste collection vehicles in the sixties, so the early MVH fleet consisted of Dennis Pax chassis fitted with either Paxit refuse collectors or Eagle gulley emptiers.
Jack Allen’s became national distributors for the Heil range of waste collection vehicles in 1970. Initially, the 19.5 cubic yard Heil Colectomatic Mark III in kit form was imported from the States and assembled onto chassis at its Buckingham Street works in Birmingham.
MVHS’s waste collection vehicles were regularly replaced and updated to meet market demand.
