INVITING US ALL TO ‘PAUSE AND REFLECT’ THE DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE IS ‘OVERWHELMED’ BY POIGNANT AND EXTRAORDINARY IMAGES IN HER PHOTO PROJECT
From quiet moments have come the most powerful images, from tears have come laughter… all are captured on camera, to the delight of the Duchess of Cambridge. Her aim when she announced the inspiring photographic project Hold Still, with the National Portrait Gallery, of which she is patron, was to encourage us all to share “a moment in time of life during lockdown”, encouraging us “to re-engage and value the simple things around us”.
An overwhelming response has yielded more than 31,000 entries and HELLO! is proud to present ten extraordinary images from the final selection, shown on these pages.
