THE GREAT INDOORS
After a brilliant day spent bombing around the tight, twisty roads surrounding Lake Geneva, then carving through the Alps en route to Annecy, where we enjoyed playing pétanque and drooling over rare Porsches at restaurant and leisure destination, E-Motion, the present Lady Furr and I decided to spend a day or two ‘staying local’ in Lausanne, our temporary home on the Swiss side of what natives of this part of the world call lac Léman. Mother Nature had different ideas, turning formerly blue skies grey and replacing delightfully dry weather with heavy rainfall. Back into our trusty 997 Carrera 4S we hopped.
Many Porschephiles will know Lausanne as the birthplace of endurance racing driver, André Wicky.
