The Somerset and Devon Road Run takes place in early October. The initial idea for the run and organiser of the first outing was the late Peter Thorner, but since his tragic death Tony Thompson has taken over the reins to ensure the event’s continuation. Also very much involved in the organisation however is Dave Authers, who during the run can be seen at the wheel of LFK 964P, his 1975 Atkinson Borderer.
