The latest yacht to emerge from Abeking & Rasmussen is 223ft , which was handed over to her owners in a small ceremony after completing sea trials in the North Sea. The German shipyard managed to adhere to its delivery schedule while implementing workarounds that satisfied the need for added safety of staff, subcontractors and guests during the Covid-19 pandemic. The custom-built yacht ( ) got its first taste of the water in . It designed as a “custom-made floating home that leaves nothing to be desired by her owner” and the yard describes the 1,500GT interior as “sophisticated and elegant.” This floating home is also meant to please charter clientele. It is fully equipped for fun with a bar and spa pool, plus a beach club, gym and steam room all on the lower deck. Listed for charter with Ocean Independence, she will be available for cruising once international travel restrictions have been lifted.
