Giorgio Armani is a man who values quiet and privacy. “I am not a wildly social man, nor have I ever been,” he explains. “I prefer to have intimate gatherings of friends and family, and when I am on holiday, my aim is to unwind and decompress. I am a self-confessed workaholic and perfectionist, so it is important that when I am away from my design studio in Milan, I have the opportunity to retreat from the modern world.”
