CASTOR PREPARES TO CAST OFF

The project known as Castor (pictured below), has been floated at Heesen, on time despite the pandemic. This 180ft, 760GT steel yacht is a sistership to Vida, featuring a masculine exterior design by Omega Architects. Delivery to the experienced American owner is planned for August. heesenyachts.com

WALKER’S CAY, THE RETURN

Plans to return Walker’s Cay to its former glory have been no walk in, he says he hopes to have the marina’s floating docks ready by summer’s end. In addition to convertibles, sportfishers and center consoles, all welcome at Walker’s Cay, for the first time the island will have room for eight superyachts. The rest of the island, including village, a spa and a bonefish lodge, will take a little longer. Allen is now hoping for a grand opening in spring 2021. The party will kick off with a fishing tournament. Allen, a big fan of the island’s history, will have it no other way.
