EDITOR’S LETTER

First, the news: the World Superyacht Awards, which were due to take place in London in September, have been moved to Monaco meticulously curated events schedule! So I’m afraid all those of you eager to know which yachts our panel of superyacht-owning judges crowned as the best boats in the world, are going to have to wait just a little bit longer. We took this as an opportunity to move a few more things around. In fact, the World Superyacht Awards will now be the grand finale of a new “Festival of Yachting” being held in Monaco in November. In the days leading up to the big awards blowout, we’ll be hosting guests from all over the world at the Yacht Club de Monaco for our annual Life Under Sail conference and Explorer Yachts Summit. Life Under Sail is the only event in the world dedicated entirely to the sailing-yacht market. The Explorer Yachts Summit, meanwhile, is focused on the rapidly expanding expedition-yachting sector. Both are brilliant, and will serve as a nice ramp to the biggest celebration in yachting – the World Superyacht Awards.
