From ‘Opening Weekend’ to Roubaix it’s always a very exciting period. It’s also the busiest of time the year with the equipment, soigneurs, clothing, putting people on the road to hand up bottles… But also for the feeling, the excitement, the stress in the car and among the riders.
The classics are really unpredictable races. You can be easy for 180km and suddenly hell breaks loose. You have to race with your heart in the Ronde. You need tactics but also the will to fight for every corner. As a Belgian, I grew up with the history of the Tour of Flanders. Every race has a story to tell.
HAS FLANDERS CHANGED OVER THE YEARS?
