Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford “looked tense” while dropping off son Liam, 19, at Amherst College in Massachusetts last week.
Friends fear the Ally McBeal star – who marked 10 years of marriage to Harrison in June – will “struggle” being left behind with her “cantankerous husband”.
“Calista really enjoyed having Liam home the past few months,” says a long-time pal. “She loves Harrison, but as he’s got older, he’s become a lot more crotchety and irritated all the time.
